Sauers, Inc’s snow and ice management division headquartered in Bucks County is seeking seasonal part-time administrative help during the months of November through March to assist in client invoicing and accounts payable after winter weather events, with the potential of regular part-time employment based on performance. Training can begin as early as August. Standard hours are between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm but individual hours are flexible based upon need.

Responsibilities
  • Improve skill sets through employee development programs
  • Help build online marketing, brochures, email campaigns, etc. that highlight our services
  • Inform team members regularly about the status of projects and any setbacks or achievements
  • Facilitate communication between our customers and team to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Create and implement data entry protocols to streamline processes and increase productivity

  • Use company software to collect information during snow events from account managers and service providers in the field
  • Transfer collected information to QuickBooks
  • Create billing for clients and payables for service providers
  • Cross-reference that all receivables and payables are transferred into QuickBooks correctly
  • Communicate with all levels of the company from the team in the field up to the executive team when needed
  • Follow this process for all snow events throughout the season
  • Performs other duties as business needs requires

Qualifications
  • Customer service, bookkeeping, or administrative experience is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • History of being deadline-driven and extremely organized
  • Navigates computer programs with ease to provide a quick front-desk experience for customers
  • Shows great interpersonal skills and excellent written communication

  • This is an hourly position that you will be expected to work beginning approximately 2-3 days after a snow event for several hours at a time until the entire snow event has been processed. Depending on the weather, you may be invoicing one event while another is already in process
  • Depending on the size of the route you are responsible for will dictate the length of time it may take to get through the whole process for one snow event. An average of 8-15 hours per event can be expected
  • Due to the unpredictability of mother nature; the weather will dictate workload availability and demand
  • This position requires someone who works well under pressure and has a flexible schedule to be available throughout the winter weather season
  • Must be able to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours a day
  • Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up-to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
  • The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects

Compensation
$13 - $17 hourly
