Responsibilities
  • Create and fulfill a customer acquisition strategy for your sales territory
  • Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or services
  • Attend online and in-person meetings, trainings, trade shows, and sales events
  • Commit to staying updated on all services and products, competition, and market conditions to ensure customer needs are met
  • Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM

  • Expand our prospective customer base and market our insurance products via including networking, referrals, cold calling, and various marketing strategies to bring in new business
  • Maintain databases, records, and bookkeeping, ensuring all paperwork is up to date
  • Process current policyholders’ insurance claims while monitoring the status of existing insurance claims
  • Evaluate new customers’ insurance needs, insurance risk, existing coverage, long-term goals, and financial status through consultations to create a tailored experience that exceeds expectations
  • Address prospective customer requests in a prompt and friendly matter, including booking new meetings and responding to inquiries regarding billing, eligibility, coverage, claims, and insurance policies

Qualifications
  • Applicant must have strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
  • Applicant must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • You will need 3-5 years of inside or outside sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree or high school diploma preferred
  • Experience using a CRM is preferred

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Life, Health, and Series 6 and 7 licenses preferred, but not required
  • The candidate must be an accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills
  • Prior sales and/or business experience preferred
  • Enterprising mindset
  • Strong desire to help others

It is also a plus if you have strong interpersonal management skills, are a self-starter, and are capable of working individually as well as in a team environment

Compensation
$69,000 - $89,000 yearly
