Bullies suck. Our law firm exists to do something about it.

In the process, we always try to show up with Compassion, Grit, and Poise. If this resonates with you, please keep reading!

Our fast-growing Casper-based law firm group is looking for a motivated and motivating Sales and Marketing Manager to develop and build on our revenue and growth strategy. Are you an energetic, dynamic leader with exceptional business and relationship-building skills who loves taking on new challenges? If so, we want to meet you!

We want to help you build your ideal career. We are committed to professional development and intend to reward all who make a meaningful contribution to our team. Even throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we have continued to grow rapidly and do not intend to slow down. We are eager to reward and incentivize the right person who helps the firm push forward with its history of aggressive growth.

We need someone eager and able to be the voice and face of our brand with the public and our potential new clients (PNCs). You should have at least five years of sales experience, be flexible, and be able to multitask. You should be comfortable meeting new people, networking, building referral relationships, and overcoming objections from PNCs. You should be passionate about helping good folks in need and excited by the personal and professional opportunities that come from working in a fast-paced law firm.

If this sounds like you, please apply now!

We love the work we do, but working in a law firm is challenging and demanding. This is a fast-paced job and will require efficiency, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to multitask.

If hired, you will report directly to the firm owner. You will meet with PNCs with all sorts of personalities and needs, listen to them well, understand their needs, and then show them how our firm can help them get from where they are to where they want to be. You will also help us market our services to our ideal clients. You will help the Director of First Impressions micromanage the front-end PNC experience by being one of the first points of contact with the firm, scheduling and completing strategy sessions, and then onboarding the PNCs.

We all like being rewarded for our contributions. If you are hired, you will work with a team of awesome people who work hard to get the job done right the first time and take pride in the work we do.

Finally, we are always trying to find a better way. There are endless new sales and marketing techniques and strategies available to the ambitious, curious, and persistent salesperson. We will provide mentorship and training to help you develop and hone these skills.

You need to be comfortable doing this stuff:

  • Understand “cost” vs. “value” of services and ably communicate the difference to PNCs. This includes quoting fees and asking for money in a direct, matter-of-fact manner.
  • Confront and overcome objections head-on
  • Think on your feet and stay positive even when things don’t go as planned
  • Close sales by clearly identifying pain points, creating urgency, and asking for a decision
  • Timely and consistently prepare accurate sales reports and religiously track metrics to identify trends and then use that data to proactively implement marketing, business development, and growth strategies.
  • Root-out new opportunities for us to promote our services through speaking engagements, networking events, the media, social media, and more
  • Deliver a first-class experience from beginning to end, nurture long-term relationships, and turn clients into loyal raving fans

  • Self-confident, full of initiative, driven to close
  • Persuasive influencer
  • Outgoing, enthusiastic, and people-oriented
  • Empathetic communication and effective negotiation skills
  • Not afraid to hear "no" because “no” is the first step in getting to "yes!"
  • You understand sales are not about you and do not derive your self-esteem from PNCs
  • Recognize every “problem” is really an “opportunity”
  • A boss at calendaring and meeting deadlines
  • Prior sales and marketing experience (5+ years), including some in a sales or office management role, is required
  • Thorough knowledge of marketing strategies and best practices for a sales department
  • Ongoing willingness to learn and apply new sales and marketing techniques
  • Comfortable with computers and learning new technology or software

About Platte River Injury Law + Cowboy Country Criminal Defense

Bullies suck. Our law firm exists to do something about it.

In all we do, we are guided by three key characteristics or core values:

  • Compassion: We understand legal problems create life problems and care enough about our clients to tackle both.
  • Grit: We have the passion and perseverance to finish whatever we start.
  • Poise: We are good-humored and gracious—especially under pressure.

We believe our clients should be empowered to rise up against big insurance, corporations, and the government to protect their freedom, financial futures, physical well-being, and peace of mind. We believe there is a better way to help hurting people through the upfront relationships we build and the downstream results we fight for every day.

We crave honest communication. This ensures we help everyone on our team create the lives and careers they want while empowering our clients in the process.
