My name is Tyler Scott, and I am the Visionary at Buy My House Indiana. Our Lake County based Company buys houses fast for cash, and we are one of the premiere wholesale homebuyers in the North West Indiana area. We generate leads through direct mail, online marketing, strategic joint venture partners, and also buy properties from real estate agents, as well as distressed sellers.

I am looking to hire an Acquisitions Manager who would love to represent the company in working directly with homeowners, and identifying properties to acquire that meet our buying criteria. 

Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Manage pipeline of prospects / leads
  • Building rapport
  • Following up
  • Evaluating properties
  • Visit the property / meeting with sellers
  • Communicating effectively with all parties involved

Compensation:

  • Orientation period of 21 days
  • Weekly payment that will act as a draw
  • 10% gross commission for all sales

Responsibilities
  • Weekly Level 10 meetings on Friday
  • Handle all negotiations relating to purchases and sales of investment properties
  • Work closely with Lead manager
  • Check CRM for review daily
  • Review Data for Comps
  • Identify which properties to schedule showings with sellers
  • Call to confirm in house showing appointments
  • Drive By Comps previously identified on CRM
  • Prepare Contract
  • Get contract signed

Qualifications

Here are the traits / requirements we look for in an Acquisitions Manager:

  • Must have a great attitude and be coachable
  • Must have strong communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Must be (Fluent in English) Spanish is also desirable as well
  • Minimum 2 years of business and/or sales experience (with a proven track record)
  • Must be extremely organized and detail oriented
  • Must be ambitious! We’re looking for a real “Go-Getter” that wants to serve, and add value
  • Must be a great manager of time, and be able to work autonomously from home
  • Must be a “People Person”
  • Must be somewhat tech savvy and familiar with online apps/tools such as: Google Docs, Dropbox, CRM (Podio), Microsoft Office, Smartphone, etc
  • Must live in or around Lake County, Indiana (preferably in the Lake County Area)
  • Candidate must have a high sense of urgency and be very driven!
  • Must be a team player
  • Be a problem solver
  • Must have a desire to learn and grow
  • Willing to go the extra mile
Compensation
$50,000 - $100,000
