The Sales Manager role is to plan and conduct all new agent training along with some recurring training sessions within our offices while also coaching and training our existing agents. You will be responsible for interacting with the agents and staff on a daily basis. You will be teaching new recruits the ins and outs of building their real estate businesses while making sure that they also understand how to stay moral, ethical and legal throughout the process. You will be actively working with our agents and the management team to assess when it is necessary to either add additional training or alter the existing curriculum to keep up with industry changes. You will help us to devise strategies for ensuring that all agents have access to and find benefit in attending regular training.
In addition to working directly with the new agents, you will also be working with veteran agents to educate them on best practices and new technology as it is rolled out within the company. You will play a critical role in ensuring that our agents have the skills that they need in order to be successful sales people. You will work to coach our existing agents and guide them to the next level in their careers.
Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to think on your feet are necessary. Effective oral and written communication skills, understanding of running a real estate transaction and strong time management skills are also required. Must view learning as a life long endeavor. Most importantly, you will have a great sense of humor and be willing to jump in as a true member of our team.
This is a full time position. Office hours are 9:00 am – 5:00 pm M-F. There may be some time spent outside of the office to shadow agents and/or attend industry events.
