For (only) 2 lucky San Diego Area telemarketers with experience and success, it is possible: a telemarketing position, following up on and nurturing qualified leads (NO cold calls). Join our team to support one of the top real estate agents in the region, work only a 40-hour week (3-4 evenings a week and 3 of 4 weekends a month, some flexibility), 2 weeks' vacation, NO open houses, NO buyer babysitting, TURN OFF YOUR CELLPHONE after hours and relax and enjoy your life. Must be able to check ego at the door and effectively represent the agent and team in exchange for a stress-free real estate career.

The right telemarketer loves change, has been successful in this type of position, is knowledgeable, has good client management, communication, and organizational skills, and could continue to earn a good living in "regular" telemarketing position if they had to. Yet prefer a set number of hours with their free time really being their own, totally free to enjoy time with family or other interests. This individual welcomes the opportunity to focus on one sales function with pre-qualified leads, the freedom from endless cold calling prospecting, intense rejection, and uncertain, unpredictable feast-famine roller coaster income.

Responsibilities

  • Funnel new qualified leads into the sales pipeline by following up with each prospect via email, phone calls, or other forms of communication
  • Report on key performance and sales metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure sales goals are achieved
  • Maintain the client database to make sure the sales team can access current information on all leads
  • Seek out new business opportunities within the assigned geographies to expand clientele
  • Qualify incoming leads so appointments are arranged as fast as possible to provide an excellent customer service experience
  • Communicate with prospects via text, email, and phone to convert them into qualified leads and funnel them to the sales pipeline
  • Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
  • Keep the customer database updated to ensure the information on prospective and past clients is current


Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of the sales process and CRM software
  • Great time management, interpersonal, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Two years of previous sales experience
  • High school diploma or GED is required, bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Current U.S. driver’s license and the ability to travel by car

Compensation
$100,000+ at plan yearly
