Key City Lending is seeking an experienced HECM Specialist/Reverse Mortgage Specialist to work with retirement age seniors to educate, originate reverse mortgages (FHA Home Equity Conversion Mortgages and JUMO Reverse Mortgages), and participate in related business development activities. The ideal candidate is an experienced Reverse Mortgage Professional looking to expand their business and currently originating 2+ HECM loans per month.

Responsibilities
  • Assist borrowers in selecting loan programs that best fit their financial goals and needs
  • Manage a large pipeline of loans to ensure your production meets our requirements
  • Work closely with industry related professionals to gather and prepare all necessary information to complete underwriting requirements
  • Maintain and build relationships through networking and prospecting with bankers, realtors, builders, and your community to attract new business
  • Interface with realtors, processors, and underwriters to ensure a smooth transaction while overseeing all customer interactions
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of real estate, mortgage origination, or lending experience required
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, superb interpersonal and customer service skills, and exceptional decision-making ability
  • Must have an active NMLS Mortgage Originator License
  • Knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, conventional, fixed/ adjustable loans, Bridge Loans, Non-Conforming Loans, FNMA and FHLMC, and Home Equity Lines of Credit
  • Requires compliance with lending regulations and bank underwriting guidelines and lending policies
Compensation
$108,000 - $141,500 yearly

Key City Lending started in 2017 and is a full-service mortgage broker licensed in CA, AZ, FL, and IL. We understand how to originate reverse mortgages, forward and NON-QM loans. We have a system in place that moves files fast. Our ecosystem is centralized through share point and our loan officers have access to any document they need within the system. We have an intake specialist and a dedicated mortgage processor that makes the files move faster. All of our loan officers and management are extremely knowledgeable about all of our programs which allows us to bounce ideas and loans scenarios of each other. Management is very hands-on and helps when there are problems with files. However, we don’t micro-manage
