Bar Cargo
Our high-volume restaurant is looking for a dynamic and flexible leader who can provide our diners with an exceptional experience. Bar Cargo has a large floor plan inside with additional seating in our beer garden and patio! As restaurant manager, you are responsible for creating a plan that maximizes our financial and operational goals. The manager needs to ensure that the restaurant complies with all local, state, and federal regulations. Responsibilities
- Create a comprehensive plan for the restaurant that considers the market, local competitors, sales revenue and expenses
- Maintain food and dining product inventories and make precise projections about future sales trends
- Deliver excellent quality of visitor satisfaction when dining in the restaurant
- Develop & implement plans for growth
- Analyze accounting financial data
- Generate reports
- Ensure that the restaurant follows health and safety regulations
- Maintain professional restaurant image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards
Qualifications
- Must have previous experience in food service managing food inventory levels, operating costs, and budgets
- Previous management or supervisory experience of 2-3 years is required, preferably in the restaurant industry
- Have superb communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills
- Computer skills and experience with MS Office strongly desired
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Efficient with POS systems, restaurant management software, Open Table, Excel
- Up to date with Basset and ServeSafe certifications
Compensation
$60,000 - $70,000 yearly
