We're looking for someone who has outstanding communication and customer service skills to work alongside our staff as the restaurant shift manager. You'll be in charge of overseeing restaurant operations during your shifts, which include the dining room, bar area, and poolside patio. You'll be responsible for scheduling staff and distributing assignments to restaurant employees for the evening shifts. As a shift manager, you'll also be responsible for greeting and serving customers, dealing with client complaints, and assuring compliance with all food and beverage safety rules. Responsibilities
  • Designate various tasks to departments and individual staff, ensuring they are completed promptly and successfully
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Keep track of inventory and make sure every area is fully stocked by ordering supplies and coordinating product deliveries
  • Cover the duties of crew members who are unable to work their shifts
  • Instruct the staff on safety procedures, customer service best practices, and restaurant cleanliness requirements
Qualifications
  • Previous management or supervisory experience is required
  • Showcase exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Must have previous experience in food service and the ability to perform various roles of restaurant crew
  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent GED
  • Experience with MS Office and other computer skills desired

  • Experience with MICROS POS or any major POS system is preferred

Compensation
$16 - $18 hourly
