A Host, or Greeter, is responsible for welcoming customers to a food service environment and ensuring that they are seated and receive attentive service. Their duties include maintaining a waitlist of patrons during busy meal service, passing out menus, and accepting phone calls.

• Greet guests and welcome them into the restaurant
• Clear and reset tables as necessary
• Polish glassware and silverware as needed
• Run food to tables as needed
• Respond to guests' needs, communicate needs to server or manager
• Sit guests using OpenTable system
• Use OpenTable to assign tables to servers before shift starts
• Answer phone and respond to questions regarding reservations, rooftop, to-go orders, and in-room dining
• Use our point-of-sale system to enter to-go and in-room dining orders
• Handle credit card and cash payments

• Previous restaurant or hosting experience preferred
• Willing to be a team player
• Effective communicator with all staff, guests, and management
• Highly organized with great time management skills
