The Neighborhood Nerds Member Center is divided into three teams - Admin Nerds, Sales Nerds, Support Nerds.
As a Support Nerd, you like finding answers, solving problems, and making people happy! Support Nerds are passionate about technology and are always learning. Our Nerds are patient, loving, kind, and driven to provide solutions for our members. You must work well in a team... must collaborate and acknowledge when you don't know the answer AND ask for help. PLEASE research our company before you meet with us... we love prepared peeps.
You will work on a Team of Support Nerds to close Tickets as quickly as possible. Tickets are created by Nerds and Members. We work off of a Queue system of First In/First Out unless the priority is changed by the Member Care Nerds.
Neighborhood Nerds, Inc. was formed in 2012 by Leonard Knight and Mark Armstrong. Leonard had been running a similar concept as Taking IT Home. Neighborhood Nerds has a simple goal of providing CARE to our Members. We believe customer service and customer care have all but disappeared in the world and we’re on a mission to correct that oversight. We will, at the very least, resolve it for our Members.
Neighborhood Nerds is a subsidiary of our larger vision, Gizmo Cares. Today, Neighborhood Nerds is retail Member Centers with teams of Nerds working to serve their local Members by resolving requests as quickly as possible. Our Nerds work to discover opportunities to serve their Members; Plan solutions for the Member’s needs; Review those solutions with the Members for budget, schedule, complexity, etc.; Implement the solution; Educate the Member about the solution; Maintain the solution for the Member.
