Tranquility Harbor of Mobile, operated by Tranquility Harbor Senior Care, a division of the IRBY Group, is seeking a Resident Care Assistant (RCA) to help provide for the needs and care of the residents in our 24 bed assisted living facility in the Mobile, AL area. 

The ideal candidate will have experience in an assisted living environment and be passionate about providing great care to our residents. We have multiple positions available, with varying shifts available.

Our assisted living facility is dedicated to helping our residents live the fullest, most active lives possible. The successful candidate will look forward to the opportunity to engage with our residents and see to their every need. We're looking for a motivated individual who can take initiative in creating new programs for our residents and work cooperatively with the rest of our staff to ensure all residents receive proper care.

We have part-time and full-time opportunities available with multiple shift options.

• Provide our residents with assistance as they accomplish daily tasks, including bathing, eating, cooking, dressing, grooming, and using the restroom
• Maintain all care records in accordance with company policy and audit care records weekly to ensure accuracy
• Communicate any problems, concerns, or issues to residents' family members as needed
• Ensure all patients take medications as directed by health care providers
• Build rapport with residents by establishing personal connections and showing interest in their lives
• Respond to any safety or medical issues
• Lead daily group and individual activities for entertainment

COVID-19 Precaution(s):

• All staff members are required to wear mask and temperature check 2x a shift
• Staff will be required to receive COVID-19 when available
• Personal protective equipment provided
• Temperature screenings (2x per shift)
• Social distancing guidelines in place
• Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place

• High school diploma/GED required
• 2+ years' experience working in a residential care facility
• CNA certification a plus
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with both residents and staff
• Previous nursing/assisted living experience an asset
• Current and valid driver's license required
• CPR training (or willingness to obtain) required
• Food Handlers Permit (or willingness to obtain one) required
