This role will help to support the eClose Team. Our ideal candidate has an in-depth knowledge of closing documents and the closing process as well as excellent notary public skills. This role will report to the Remote Online Notary Closer, working alongside them to help sustain quality closing processes.

JOB TYPE: Full-time; Monday-Friday


Support and assist with accuracy in mortgage document completion, mortgage closing standards, and filing requirements.

Aid in the maintenance and preparation of training materials and workflows ensuring that they adhere to internal and external guidelines.

Keep abreast of all RON regulatory changes and share an understanding of RON closings.

Assist all team members by answering questions. Inform the manager of any missing items or problems relevant to the closing

Return all calls, voicemails, and emails in a timely manner.

Perform all operational tasks and other duties as assigned by the manager.


Minimum of 1 year of mortgage loan processing experience or escrow assistant is required. 1 year of escrow experience is required.

Commissioned Notary Public 

A High School diploma is preferred.

Strong knowledge of real estate documents, title insurance, and escrow functions.


Strong level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Team player, open-minded, and easily adaptable to change.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up. 

PAY: $85.00-$200.00 per loan signing appointment

  • Process and close real estate transactions from start to finish.
  • Know or learn how to read a title commitment and clear any matters required to ensure a clear title.
  • Order, review and disclose any documents necessary to comply with the real estate contract and any statutory requirements.
  • Prepare any closing documents necessary, including Closing Disclosures, Affidavits, Settlement Statements, Deeds, and other settlement documents.
  • Maintain review and compliance of all files throughout the settlement process to ensure minimal exposure to claims/losses.
  • Be able to account for the receipt and disbursement of funds, including balancing a file ledger.



  • High school or equivalent 


  • Title processing: 1 year (Preferred) 
  • Have or willing to be a commissioned Notary. 


  • A willingness to know or learn the title insurance business.
  • Must be organized and self-motivated.
  • Amazing customer service is a must!
  • Multilingual is a plus but is not required.
  • Knowledge of personal computers and applicable software. (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and Encompass are preferred).

$85 to $200 per signing appointment
