  • Enter data on loan closing documents in a timely manner
  • Collect documentation, review, prepare, and close loan packages or loan files
  • Verify all closing documentation, mortgage closing documents, third party orders, closing packages, and signatures are correct in the loan files
  • Confirm loan compliance with all state and federal regulations and policies, as well as investor/mortgage lending product and program guidelines
  • Follow closing instructions, and verify that all closing conditions have been satisfactorily met

  • Inputs all borrower information into the 1003 (LOS)
  • Reviews and understands AUS findings in detail and ensures that supporting borrower documentation (i.e. income, assets, liabilities, and credit) matches the information provided in 1003
  • Provides guidance to borrowers on loan processing flow including an introduction to an assigned loan processor
  • Works with dedicated Loan Processor to ensure optimum customer service and loan quality; collaborates with Loan Processor on the follow-up of conditions and loan status communication to customer and referral partner
  • This is sales Position

  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills are desired
  • Two years of real estate mortgage processing, lending, or closing experience preferred, years of experience with banking, credit unions, or financial services funding also accepted
  • Must have MS Office experience, lending or title software, NMLS experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of mortgage industry regulations from origination to post-closing; as well as an understanding of loan products such as Conventional, FHA, USDA, and VA are desired
  • GED or high school diploma is required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Familiarity with loan software such as Calyx Point
  • General understanding of the Multiple Listing Service (MLS)
  • Willingness to embrace current and new technology
  • Want to Sell Mortgage money
  • College degree preferred but not required

Must live in California or the Western US
