This is a true career and a place to retire early from, while having a massively fulfilling and challenging role and a ton of fun along the way! Although a majority of the time will be spent in the office organizing tasks and workflow, the person in this position will also be able to get out of the office; visiting properties, meeting contractors, and meeting with account reps.

Here's the thing. We ONLY want someone with an amazing, upbeat, happy personality and we're unwilling to accept anything less. We have a FUN office culture and we intend to keep it that way. Responsibilities
  • Generate detailed project estimates and scope of work, with information provided by Rehab Manager
  • Pre-screen and on board new contractors
  • Work with contractors to generate bids
  • Ensure adherence to project kickoff documentation requirements
  • Ensure adherence to invoicing requirements
  • Track and manage budget and schedule performance
  • Admin the inspections and sign off process with contractors
  • Admin the change order process
  • Work to deliver a quality home, on a timely basis, in the most efficient manner possible 
  • Perform walk-throughs daily to identify potential problems. Take proactive measures to resolve issues
  • Maintain a top-rate customer service attitude, performing customer field orientations as required 
  • Assist Rehab Manager in day to day construction and business activities
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of residential/commercial construction process with 4+ years of relevant construction experience
  • Basic technology skills and experience with a residential production scheduling system
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Thorough understanding of all stages of construction process including both rough and trim stages
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word 
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
Compensation
$12 - $14 hourly

We are an investment company that buys and sells 200 homes per year, and we'll be expanding in 2019 while most other companies are slowing down due to a poor economy! We only buy quality homes. We expect high quality labor every single time. The only difference in a $150,000 home and a $350,000 home to us is the QUALITY of the material used. Otherwise, the labor quality is expected to be 100% the same. 

Our office is small and informal. We're a team of 17 and growing daily! We wear whatever we want, whenever we want. Sometimes, we will dress up a bit for a client, but that's a very rare thing. Anytime you meet a client you will be professionally dressed. We take pride in our unique culture!
