Lark Hotels is seeking a Regional Manager (RM) who will provide overall guidance, support, training, and accountability to the properties he/she manages. This role will lead and influence the operations towards favorable growth and design and direct strategies that support and enhance our organizational operations. The RM will provide guidance and motivation to managers and other staff. The successful leader must set objectives, monitor performance, train and develop team members while focusing on high food quality and beverage and standards to exceed our customer’s expectations. This individual will utilize operational knowledge and excellent communication skills to work closely with the hotel teams in managing day-to-day operations.

The Regional Manager - Southern Division will be responsible for directly managing 4-8 General Managers over a geographically spread area in the south and west relative to Lark Hotels’ collection. We anticipate further growth in the region, and the specific properties will adjust over time. This role will be 60-70% travel to the properties and 30-40% administrative/work from home. Travel may be driving or flying based on the location. However, we expect this position to be based near a hub such as Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, Birmingham, AL, Asheville, NC, or another mutually agreed upon location.

• Work in conjunction with General Managers to ensure proper brand standards with a focus on clean and well-maintained facilities. Implement financial strategies by anticipating trends, utilizing income statements and developing action plans, measuring and analyzing results, and initiating corrective actions.

• 8 + years of hospitality experience.
• Progression of roles, including on-property leadership positions and area/regional responsibilities.
• Ability to travel up to 70%.
• Cross-departmental experience, including a working knowledge of hotel and restaurant accounting, basic human resources, food and beverage service, events, marketing, and others.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States of America.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate in English, both orally and written, with guests, employees, and vendors, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy.
