Pandya Hospitality is a family-owned and operated business that focuses on managing SMALL INDEPENDENT MOTELS in secondary and tertiary markets. We are in a growth phase, where acquisitions of additional small independent motels are the current primary objective of the company. 

We are currently seeking a qualified, Dallas area-based, Regional General Manager or Area Manager. The position will remotely and in-person oversee a portfolio of four, 20 to 40 room, independent motels in the West Texas region. These motels are located 350 miles away from Dallas, Texas and are about 100 to 150 miles apart. 

The company has two partners who currently own and run the entire business. The Regional Manager would become the third member of the team, and work with both the owners of the company and the property managers to provide the best possible experience for our guests. Working directly with the principals creates an exciting opportunity for the Regional Manager who will benefit from three generations of hospitality knowledge and experience, which will be vital for development and future promotions. One passion that both partners have is to guide and teach the hospitality business to ensure further growth. Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 + Bonus (based on experience)

  • Maximize RevPAR through daily revenue management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact in supporting general managers 
  • Optimize expenses and create efficiencies in labor-management, property processes, and purchase orders 
  • Conduct market analysis and acquire new group/company business
  • Manage the execution of property budgets and revenue goals
  • Find and source new General Managers for current and future properties 
  • Be responsible for short and long term planning while assisting GM’s with day-to-day operations
  • Recommend hotel budget, marketing plans, and business plans 
  • Report to VP of Operations with property assessments and action plans
  • Travel to properties on a bi-monthly basis for onsite property inspections 
  • Ensure all properties maintain high guest satisfaction scores
  • Assist general managers with daily operations and act as interim GM in his/her absence
  • Other duties as necessary or assigned

  • Property Management experience in independent or franchised hotels/motels 
  • Knowledge of hotel operations, including personnel and labor relations, maintenance, budget forecasting, quality assurance programs, marketing plans, guest satisfaction scores, and sales
  • Must possess outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, write effective emails, and be able to speak with poise
  • Must have exceptional leadership skills and the ability to direct, coach, mentor, and develop General Managers
  • Ability to speak Spanish is a PLUS!
  • Travel is required
