Regional Engineer – Michigan
Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the world’s leading wetland and waterfowl conservation organization, is seeking a self-motivated, experienced civil engineer to be located in Dexter, Michigan. The successful applicant will join a highly motivated conservation team of biologists and engineers who are responsible for the planning, design, and construction of wetland restoration and enhancement projects. Primary responsibilities will be in Michigan and Ohio.

Regional Engineers perform a full range of project planning, design, contracting, and construction management functions on the wetland, riparian, and associated habitat restoration projects. Project delivery responsibilities include scoping and proposal development, engineering design, project bidding, field inspection, and occasional construction management. A close working relationship with local, state, and federal personnel, private landowners, and other conservation partners will be an important aspect of the job. The position will include occasional travel.
Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America's waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
