GF Hotels & Resorts has an exciting opportunity to join our corporate accounting team as a Regional Controller. The Regional Controller is responsible for the management, supervision, guidance, and mentorship of the Controllers for your assigned hotels.

• Manage, supervise, mentor and provide direction and guidance to their controllers
• Provide input to the Property General Managers for annual performance evaluations
• Coordinate training of new Controllers
• Maintains a thorough understanding of the Property Management Agreements
• Provides direction and guidance to Controllers as questions arise as to how to properly record accounting transactions
• Provides direction and guidance to Controllers as questions arise as to how to prepare internal management reports, i.e.: Revenue, G.O.P. and AR Report, Cash Flow Forecasts, etc.
• Provides direction and guidance to Controllers how to properly respond and/or handle correspondence to outside agencies or individuals
• Monitors the progress of Controllers to meet the due-dates of the Financial Statements, tax filing and payments, and distribution of Reports.
• Reviews the Property Financial Statements of their Controllers for accuracy and provides direction and guidance where necessary

This position requires candidates with hotel finance experience.

* Previous experience as a Regional and or Area Controllers experience. 

* Previous experience as a Hotel Controller in a Full-Service Hotel.

* Have the proven ability to manage 5 to 10 Controllers and/or Accounting Staff Members remotely 

* Travel to properties on a semi-annual basis, or as required 

* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a plus 

* Experience with M3 Accounting System is a plus 

* Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
