Real Estate Assistant/Runner to the Team

You Will:

Provide assistant support to the Team, to ensure they can focus on what they do best - growing the business and building a rewarding, culture-driven company. Anticipating the needs of the Agents and executives you support is critical, along with your problem-solving abilities. Below is a list of your primary functions and responsibilities but does not include everything and is subject to evolve over time as the company grows. 

The Assistant / Runner will report directly to the CEO and COO. This position comes with Career Growth Opportunity to move up within the company.

Work schedule: Full-Time (MUST be able to work on Saturdays AND Sundays). Hire will have Wednesdays and Thursdays OFF.

Compensation: $17 - $18/hour + Benefits

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Set up all company Open House signs every weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and some weekdays
  • Keep track of sign inventory, riders, flags, banners
  • Event set-up and breakdown, labor tasks such as storing or moving company furniture, and other two-person type jobs
  • Maintain and track inventory in Storage Units
  • Maintain supplies for Property Listings and track supply inventory at each listing
  • Maintain Open House Agent Totes for agents
  • Assist with one-off outlier tasks that arise in any department

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Maintain office supplies, organizational appearances, food/beverage inventory, company swag, etc.
  • Liaise on behalf of our Executive Team with outside clients, leads, internal agents, or staff
  • Assist management team with special projects
  • Provide world-class concierge services to our clients as instructed by management and as described in protocols
  • Maintain the company’s concierge level standards / gold-standards
  • Assist with administrative, clerical, data entry type duties as required by the Executive Team
  • Take and retrieve messages for the executives you directly support
  • Scheduling of appointments, travel, reservations, etc. for the CEO and COO


  • Valid driver's license and good driving record. Must have your own reliable vehicle for transportation as you will travel to properties.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of administrative support experience.
  • Work schedule: Full-Time (MUST be able to work on Saturdays AND Sundays). Hire will have Wednesdays and Thursdays OFF.
  • Highly Preferred: Candidate resides in West LA or within 10 miles of Marina del Rey, CA.
  • Must have positive, CAN-DO attitude.
  • Must be able to lift and carry many real estate open house signs.
  • Experience in a startup, fast-paced, changing environment a huge PLUS.
  • Proven proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and MAC OS.
  • Proficiency with Google suite of products (docs, sheets, slides).
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including strong listening skills.
  • Ability to use office equipment, including copiers/scanners etc.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Pleasant and professional demeanor and appearance at all times with strict attention to detail.
  • Expectation of confidentiality on all business matters and the company’s intellectual property.
  • Must be a United States citizen and be able to provide proof you are eligible to legally work in the United States.
  • Great time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage responsibilities.
$17 - $18/hour
