Our busy real estate brokerage is looking for an energetic accounting manager with excellent attention to detail who can focus on the bottom line to keep our company profitable. You will perform, manage and oversee our day-to-day financial functions as well as recommend and implement improvements, produce monthly, quarterly and annual reports, and other activities in line with senior accounting/controller responsibilities.
You will be working with a small and cohesive main office staff. Although we a large brokerage in terms of agents, our staff is lean and dedicated. You will have direct supervision of 1-2 employees and coordinate some minor bookkeeping activities of staff in satellite offices.
You'll be in charge of reconciling general ledger accounts, processing payroll, monthly forecasting, and creating an annual budget. In addition, you will either supervise or personally handle a variety of accounts receivable and payable functions and work with outside accountants on audit and tax issues:
You will report directly to the owner of the company. Our ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of team management experience, preferably in hospitality, as well as a finance degree.
