The Sales Manager is an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. He/she is an excellent leader within the organization, able to build a cohesive sales team of Buyer Agents, Listing Agents and Showing Agents who are united in their commitment to the team’s standards and to achieving the team’s goals. They have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality.

The Sales Manager leads the buyer side of the team by hiring, training, consulting, and holding accountable all Agents. In addition, he/she demonstrates on a daily basis the management ability, knowledge, attitudes, skills, and habits of a high-achieving buyer agent who is committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and to seeking win-win agreements.

The Sales Manager also demonstrates a commitment to learning and strives for growth by regularly attending courses, teaching courses when appropriate, and regularly practicing scripts and dialogues. Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement training programs. Hold regular skills training sessions for agents
  • Conduct market research and competitor and customer analysis
  • Work on sales scripts with agents
  • Monitor the achievement of sales objectives by the sales team
  • Provide training for sales team
  • Analyze sales data on sales results and develop plans to address performance gaps
  • Set aggressive sales goals with sales team
  • Manage the activities and performance of the sales team
  • Develop a sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Motivate, teach and train agents, as well as hire and nurture new talent
  • Ensure members of the sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly

  • Hold 1 on 1 with agents to evaluate their goal, making sure all agents are on target or has some type of improvement plan in place
  • Conduct weekly Buyer Agent meeting
  • Quality assurance for all agents, reviewing emails and conversations agents have

Qualifications
  • Problem analysis and problem-solving
  • Proven success as a Sales Manger or team lead
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals as an individual contributor
  • Team leadership ability
  • Set targets, performance plans, and rigorous, objective standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Have prior experience in sales
Compensation
$75,000 with the commission plan
