As a high performing Sales Manager, our expectations are that the ideal candidate help the organization meet the customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company and sales team competitive and innovative.  

This person would be responsible for recruiting sales team candidates who mirror our values and possess strong qualities such as being humble, hungry and smart. Additional responsibilities include maximizing the Sales Team’s potential by managing and motivating them as well as crafting and monitoring a sales plan and justifying that plan to upper management. Duties also include scheduling and overseeing all training programs and identifying training needs. 

Furthermore, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all new sales team members receive proper training on our internal systems, methods and culture so that they can achieve their sales goals successfully. To expand the company’s customer base and to ensure a strong presence, it is important that the sales plan, as developed by the Sales Manager, directly support the overarching business plan set by Executive Management.

Responsibilities

The three main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ownership of recruitment and retention - Identify and attract new candidates whose personal and professional goals align with our culture and vision. Monitor turnover and make recommendations to management to maintain high levels of retention.
  • Training and coaching - Design onboarding and training sessions to ensure the sales team remains innovative and is always pushing forward to accomplish their goals. Provide guidance to the sales team when there is help needed regarding clients and/or transactions. Continuously participate in leadership and coaching training to level up your own skills.
  • Performance monitoring of the sales team - Manage and ensure that the sales team is hitting minimum daily requirements and standards. Present sales revenue reports along with realistic forecasts to management. Motivate and encourage consistent and innovative prospecting. Identify new sales opportunities and emerging markets as well as new products and services. Identify and help resolve any issues or misses with management that are within the sales department to ensure the sales team is thriving.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have:

  • A proven track record for sales management and growth. 
  • CA Real Estate license and experience.
  • The capability of identifying and recruiting strong candidates that fit within the vision and culture of the organization. 
  • High organizational skills, be methodical, proactive and have strong sales and management skills.
  • 5+ years of sales experience is required
  • 5+ years of sales team management experience is required
Compensation
$80,000 - $120,000 (base salary + bonus, depending on experience)
