The Michael Kaslow Team is seeking an experienced, driven, motivated listing specialist to join our office in Southwest Minneapolis. You must be passionate about meeting your goals, eager to contribute to a team environment, adept at managing your time, and attentive to detail. Most of your time will be spent growing your sphere, lead-generating, and assisting our valued clients.

 JOB SUMMARY

As a full-time agent on The Michael Kaslow Team, you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining a relationship with potential clients. You will participate in daily lead generation activities to bring new business to the team as well as thorough follow-up and follow-through with leads that are provided by the team. You will become familiar with the technology and systems used in our team transactions.

The Listing Specialist is an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. You have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. In addition, you are committed to putting clients first, doing the right thing, and to seeking win-win agreements.

The Listing Specialist converts leads to appointments, appointments to agreements, and then conducts a high-level fiduciary needs analysis. At this point, you will work closely with our Listing Coordinator to prepare the home for market, overseeing all measurements, MLS input details, and weekly communication with seller clients. Lastly, you will negotiate the offer, write the contract, and oversee the transaction through its close.

The Listing Specialist also demonstrates a desire to learn and regularly attends training and script/dialogue practices. You are committed to investing in The Michael Kaslow Team and growing with us.

COMPENSATION

This is a commission-based role, yet all of our agents complete multiple closings per month. Based on our standards and the opportunities we currently have in place, a typical team member should achieve $100,000+ annually.

Cap owed to Keller Williams will be waived upon joining The Michael Kaslow Team.

Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Prospect and conduct lead generation activities for new listing appointments
  • Quickly respond to online seller leads, and follow up to convert into listing appointments
  • Have a proactive networking mindset to build and maintain business relationships with a number of people
  • Manage all leads in contact database system, set and complete tasks in the system, and track all client communications
  • Prepare and analyze Comparative Market Analyses (CMA) before all listing presentation appointments
  • Conduct a thorough needs analysis to ensure fiduciary service to all listing clients
  • Conduct all listing appointments and convert appointments to listing agreements
  • Present and negotiate all offers to purchase with clients and the agents representing prospective buyers
  • Negotiate all inspection repairs
  • Promptly return all seller client telephone calls, texts, and/or emails
  • Answer questions and educate clients about the real estate market, the transaction process, contracts, and terms of sale
  • Regularly assure seller clients that Michael Kaslow Team staff is involved and informed – promote the team concept
  • Keep production staff updated on important client communications and transaction developments (copied on emails and updated notes in CRM)
  • Communicate diligently with the production staff to ensure the highest level of service to buyer clients from initial contact through contract to close
  • Close seller clients to written offers to purchase
  • Mandatory attendance at team scripting, training, and weekly team meetings

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • A valid MN real estate license is required
  • 12 closed sales within the last 12 months
  • Professional and approachable disposition
  • Ability to think outside the box when it comes to lead generation and problem solving
  • Valid MN driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Excellent at building rapport

Compensation
$100,000 - $130,000 yearly
