The Michael Kaslow Team is seeking an experienced, driven, motivated buyers specialist to join our office in Southwest Minneapolis. You must be passionate about meeting your goals, eager to contribute to a team environment, adept at managing your time, and attentive to detail. Most of your time will be spent growing your sphere, lead-generating, and assisting our valued clients.

As a full-time agent on The Michael Kaslow Team, you will be responsible for nurturing and maintaining a relationship with potential clients. You will participate in daily lead generation activities to bring new business to the team as well as a thorough follow-up and follow-through with leads that are provided by the team. You will become familiar with the technology and systems used in our team transactions.

The Buyer Specialist is an individual who is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. You have a strong sense of urgency, but not at the expense of quality. In addition, you are committed to putting clients first, to doing the right thing, and to seeking win-win agreements.

The Buyer Specialist converts leads to appointments, appointments to agreements, and then conducts a high-level fiduciary needs analysis. At this point, you will select homes that meet buyer criteria, and refine that criteria to close for contracted offers. Lastly, you will negotiate the offer, write the contract, and oversee the transaction through its close.

The Buyer Specialist also demonstrates a desire to learn, and regularly attends training and script/dialogue practices. You are committed to investing in The Michael Kaslow Team and growing with us.


This is a commission-based role, yet all of our agents complete multiple closings per month. Based on our standards and the opportunities we currently have in place, a typical team member will achieve $75,000+ annually.

Cap owed to Keller Williams will be waived upon joining The Michael Kaslow Team.

  • Prospect for both seller and buyer leads, convert leads to appointments and close for buyer agency agreements
  • Conduct a thorough needs analysis to ensure fiduciary service to all buyer clients
  • Ensure that buyer clients are pre-qualified with a mortgage lender
  • Gather and answer buyer questions about potential homes and local community information
  • Provide buyer clients with pricing information and market research
  • Educate buyer clients about the home buying process
  • Show homes to prospective home buyer clients
  • Identify homes to show that meet buyers’ criteria
  • Schedule showings of homes with buyer clients
  • Refine buyers’ criteria and select additional homes to show as necessary
  • Write and submit all offers to purchase homes for buyer clients
  • Negotiate offers to purchase and oversee the entire negotiation process
  • Schedule and attend on-site property inspections with clients and vendors
  • Negotiate all inspection repairs
  • Provide buyer clients access to homes under contract as needed for measuring, inspecting, etc.
  • Promptly return all buyer client telephone calls, texts, and/or emails
  • Work closely with the team Buyer Transaction Coordinator
  • Regularly assure buyer clients that Michael Kaslow KT staff is involved and informed – promote the team concept
  • Keep production staff updated on important client communications and transaction developments (copied on emails and updated notes in CRM)
  • Communicate diligently with the production staff to ensure the highest level of service to buyer clients from initial contact through contract to close
  • Close buyer clients to written offers to purchase
  • Mandatory attendance at team scripting, training, and weekly team meetings
  • Must be available to hold at least 4-weekend open houses a month
  • Must be available to host Homebuyer Seminars for the team and in your own sphere of influence



  • 12 closed sales within the last 12 months
  • A valid MN real estate license is required
  • Professional and approachable disposition
  • Ability to think outside the box when it comes to lead generation and problem solving
  • Valid MN driver’s license and reliable vehicle
