We need a great Listing Agent for our motivated DC and MD sellers! Washington, DC Metro Area.  a resume/letter of intent.

I need one full time, licensed, experienced DC and/or MD Agent and/or the ability to get your DC or MD license. VA work could be in the future but isn't initially required.

This is a draw/commission position. It's focused more on sales and customer service and less on administration and creating your own business (since the leads are provided). Continuing to create your own leads and warm market sales are welcome but not necessarily required. 

You could be a great fit for this position if you still love and want to continue in Real Estate. Let our team take care of:

1) The day to day grind and expense of creating your own leads/business. 

2) Admin work.

3) Following-up with leads.

Responsibilities

  • Licensed or motivated to get licensed in both MD and DC.
  • Travel as much as 1.5 hours for some (not all) listing opportunities.  
  • Think "outside the box" with creative procedures that emphasize efficiency and time savings. 
  • Provide customer service until the listing settles. 
  • Team Player and have the ability to coordinate the lead/listing with me, a general manager, a listing assistant, a transaction coordinator, and Buyer's Agents representing the Buyer. 
  • Negotiate the contract and inspections. 
  • Ability to problem solve and close. 
  • Comfortable working with all types of clients. 
  • Follow our guidance and procedures that are refined, established and work.
  • Technologically proficient. 
  • Trustworthy and able to pass a criminal background check.

Qualifications

  • Real Estate License or motivated to get licensed in both MD and DC.
  • Organizational skills are required.

Compensation

$100,000+ within the first year (Commission + Draw Payment)

Where do my leads come from?

  • I've advertised on WMAL conservative talk radio and with Barbara Corcoran (Shark Tank) for the last 5+ years. The leads come mostly from these sources. Most leads are very motivated and have equity. They are mostly politically conservative. 
  • We accept any motivated business that can turn a profit (from $100,000 listings to multi-million dollar listings). 
  • Leads are pre-screened (by me) for motivation, equity and not currently working with a Realtor. Generally "now" business. However, they are normally interviewing several Agents and our listing appointment and follow-up "seals" the deal.
  • The average # of potential appointments per week is 2-6 appointments/week.
