We’re hiring a seasoned general contractor to manage our laborers and subcontractors while also helping our project manager plan. You’ll be in charge of quality control and routinely inspect the work being done, guiding as needed with your industry know-how. We are also looking for someone that is willing to grow and also oversee the project management side of our rehabs. Applicants should be attentive to details and highly knowledgeable about construction processes and safety regulations. • Help the project manager create a detailed plan for the construction process by discussing project specifications with the client
• Document the construction process in the daily logbook to update the project manager and homeowners on the progress
• Prevent injuries and slowdowns by demanding complete adherence to health and safety standards on construction sites, and quickly report issues to the project manager if they do arise
• Measure progress through reviewing performance goals and deadlines to make sure the project runs on schedule with the project manager’s deadlines and subcontractor work
• Buy the appropriate materials and equipment and reorder stock when it starts to run low to ensure the project can keep going

• Current general contractor license
• Physically capable of using heavy equipment and lifting at least 40 pounds
• Finished training for OSHA 30 license and firm adherence to safety protocols on the job-site
• Basic computer skills and ability to use Microsoft Office
• At least one year of previous experience as a general contractor required, preferably 3 or more years
