RE/MAX Legacy is looking for an engaging, driven, and learning-based Director of Opportunity to help them grow Kansas City’s Top Producing Team! This is a unique opportunity to lead the recruiting division and grow our office and teams with the right agents for the right reasons.

The ideal candidate must be an independent self-starter, and passionate about business development. You’ll be responsible for reaching out to agents, ensuring their values align with ours, and evaluating if they’re a great cultural fit for the team.

Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of the Director of Opportunity are finding, attracting, following up, transitioning, and orienting agents to the office. Specifically, you will be in charge of:

  • Proactively recruiting real estate agents and effectively communicating the benefits of working with RE/MAX Legacy
  • Overseeing the steps in hiring, from recruiting to interviewing to onboarding
  • Creating and maintaining an extensive database of contacts
  • Lead generating with career nights, real estate school visits, social media, training invitations, and job postings
  • Designing and managing RE/MAX Legacy's recruiting site
  • Consulting experienced agents on sales and business strategies 
  • Building and maintaining a consistent follow-up system
  • Overseeing and improving RE/MAX Legacy's onboarding and orientation processes

Qualifications

Of course, having a real estate license or experience in the real estate industry will be super helpful, but it is not required. We can train the right personality as long as you have the qualifications below!

  • Must love people (and talking to new people daily!)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred 
  • 2+ years experience working with people
  • Great at time management and organization
  • Tech-savvy
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Office is a plus
  • Willingness to learn and grow

Compensation
$45,000 - $55,000 DOE + bonuses
