You’ll work with contractors, subcontractors, and supply vendors to orchestrate project plans and make sure it’s done right. Responsibilities

  • Determine the project deliverables and specifications, including the project scope, necessary project resources, and estimated labor needed to complete the project
  • Communicate with key stakeholders the status of the project through regular progress status reports
  • Provide stakeholders accurate cost estimates of the project upfront and accurately control the budget throughout the project
  • Manage general contractors and subcontractors, and provide guidance as needed to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Ensure the appropriate licenses or permits are in place to validate that renovation/construction is up to the appropriate code
  • Negotiate profitable contracts with external vendors, general contractors, and subcontractors

Qualifications
  • Possess a deep understanding of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, project management principles, and construction methods
  • Excellent time-management, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience using construction or project management software preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a bonus
Compensation
$45,000 - $50,000
