The primary objective is to maintain and improve our brand presence. The Marketing Director will work with the Marketing Coordinator to generate traffic to our website and social media channels by creating and delivering marketing ideas and activities; creating content and managing social media channels; maintaining inventory of collateral materials and planning events. The Marketing Director is intimately involved in helping our team to communicate the value we bring to the community. The ideal candidate must be able to work with minimal direction as well as be creative and proactive in researching and learning the newest trends and techniques in marketing and social media. The Marketing Director must be local and be willing to work in the office.



  • Work with the Marketing Coordinator to manage all marketing, social media, PR, and branding initiatives - print, digital, and social, photography and video, direct mail
  • Ensures that company messages and materials are accurate and consistent
  • Creates, delivers, edits, and optimizes marketing materials and advertising campaigns
  • Event Planning/Coordination
  • Establish all marketing for team events, open houses, and new listings
  • Plan and organize all team events and market across all social media channels
  • Maintain accurate information on company website
  • Develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about our company and drive qualified traffic
  • Geographic farming marketing that focuses on a single neighborhood as a target audience and utilizes our marketing efforts to educate, improve, provide different services and bring value to the residents of this particular neighborhood
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysis
  • Produce valuable and engaging content for our website and blog that attracts and converts our target groups
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
  • Oversee and approve marketing material, from website banners to hard copy brochures and case studies
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight, and assess against goals
  • Measure and report on the performance of our various social media channels monthly
  • Manage print contractors and other promotional vendors


  • Minimum of 2 years marketing/brand management in an agency or real estate sales environment
  • Demonstrable the potential and attitude required to learn
  • Possesses a proven track record of sales/marketing performance
  • Social media expert
  • Bright, upbeat, energetic and have strong communication skills
  • Highly proficient with marketing concepts
  • Enjoys working in an enterprising environment
  • Passion for new solutions and challenging broad-based audiences
  • Enjoys the challenges of new products, new environments, and working with a team
  • Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate, and motivate
  • A sense of aesthetics and a love for great copy and witty communication
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, such as geotagging, hashtag strategies etc.
  • Proficient with Canva
  • Proficient with Adobe DC

$45,000-$55,000 DOE

The Jill Smith Team is comprised of a team of local real estate professionals committed to selling some of the most desired homes in Cypress, Texas, and surrounding areas and we are looking to grow! We do between 200-300 transactions a year with plans to grow 20% each year over the next 5 years. We have a listing coordinator who handles all aspects of the listings until they go under contract, a transaction coordinator that manages each transaction from contract to close, a marketing coordinator and currently 13 active agents.
