G Light Equity is an established yet growing real estate investment company that primarily focuses on buying off-market, small multifamily properties in El Paso, Pueblo, and Teller counties. Sometimes we buy and hold, but oftentimes we reposition and sell. Additionally, we have several in-fill new construction projects in various stages of the development pipeline.

We are in search of a detail-oriented office manager to oversee, organize, and coordinate administrative duties and office procedures. Duties and responsibilities will include contract creation and review, coordinating with vendors, overseeing properties, and providing general administrative support within our fast-paced small business environment. Must have experience with a variety of office software (email tools, spreadsheets, and databases) and be able to accurately handle administrative duties.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing our real estate transactions from contract review to acceptance to closing, direct communication with title companies, lenders, and vendors during the process of a transaction
  • Serve as the point person for office duties including maintenance, office cleanliness, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, and errands
  • Schedule meetings and appointments (Zoom, Teams, and other software may apply)
  • Ensuring that vendors are on time, compliant with the contract, and that we have proper W9, insurance, and other documentation for them to perform work
  • Design better office procedures as necessary, create systems or checklists to ensure preventable mistakes happen with reduced frequency
  • Ensure that all invoices, debt service, etc. are paid on time, and supporting our bookkeeping and accounting oversight in creation of monthly reporting
  • Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors, service providers
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of office KPI’s (AP/AR)
  • Overseeing property management, and ensuring our units are being well operated

Qualifications

  • Proven experience, minimum 3 years, as an office manager or similar position at a real estate firm, title company, or similar experience in the industry
  • Must have experience supervising personnel
  • Must have confidence and an ability to proactively seek assistance when needed
  • Familiarity with real estate transactions is a requirement
  • Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook in particular)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and self-prioritize work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced, start-up environment
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements
  • The ability to celebrate and learn from mistakes

Compensation
$55,000 - $65,000 yearly
