Hello, I'm Kyle McLaughlin, CEO of I am personally writing this job description. Why? Because you are going to have to work with me and all my imperfections day in and day out in a position where the work is never done and you have to fall in love with the chaos. It takes a special person to even think they can conquer this role. It's not for the faint at heart. Before I tell you about this role and the responsibilities I'd like you to read through the company description.

You will likely never make it to an interview with me personally unless you are a fit with the core values of our team.

This role could very well lead to an upper management position in this company or others that we own. What I can tell you for sure is that this position will be an extreme learning experience. You will learn the inner workings of our systems and processes that run our businesses with incredible predictability.

You will be in every meeting with myself and team leaders, assisting us in executing our project management, strategic planning, and various other projects that will be spontaneous and sometimes critical.

As much as this attracts visionary personalities, and as much as I LOVE working with visionaries, there is a quality you must have that many visionaries don't have and that is a mindset for process and an eye for detail.

  • Deliver concierge-level customer service to sellers, buyers, and lenders, to improve customer satisfaction ratings
  • Help organize community outreach events to improve our standing in the local area
  • Complete paperwork for all real estate transactions in a timely manner to ensure a deal is closed as quickly as possible
  • Compile and distribute weekly/monthly reports and communicate key results to the rest of the team to ensure company goals are being met
  • Enforce compliance with legal and tax withholding processes
  • Must have a valid Real Estate License
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Has knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer relationship management software
  • Prior experience in the real estate industry or as an office manager
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • Communicates well, both verbally and written

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Highly Skilled in Word, Google Drive, Excel with amazing documentation skills
  • Highly efficient with planning and note-taking
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to inspire people to do things even if they don't directly report to you
  • Amazing at project management and following up to ensure tasks are complete
  • Excited about the opportunity to be the "squeaky wheel" especially when it comes to dealing with me.. (I'm often holding something must be fearless and relentless)
  • Many other skills that will shock and impress us and the ability to quickly learn how to do anything
  • You will want to be able to take immediate action, pay attention to the details and bring in projects on time
  • You must be willing to speak up and have no emotional need to be petted for a good job
  • You must have confidence that are the best in the world at what you do yet humble enough to know you can always improve
  • You must seek that feedback from everyone and listen without feeling the need to explain yourself
  • You must be an active listener and have the ability to move like water around obstacles, difficult tasks, and difficult people
  • Be passionate and work with a sense of urgency
