Our Director of Sales will lead real estate sales agents and will build a strong sales team to support company goals including buyer's agents and inside sales associates.

This leader should be passionate about:

  • Mentoring their real estate team to success utilizing the company's coaching, training and mentoring strategies
  • Leading the agents properly, leaders should understand how to motivate and train the attitudes, approaches, habits, and expectations of agents, who should be committed to putting their clients first and winning leads
  • Knowing the process of real estate and being contractually proficient

Responsibilities
  • Analyze market data and use it to develop methods for meeting financial targets, designing marketing plan deliverables, and developing an annual sales forecast
  • Boost revenue and increase new guest visits through strategic outbound sales efforts that may include phone solicitation to local professionals, corporations, and members of your personal network
  • Deliver previous and upcoming week's sales activity reports, as well as monthly sales expense reports, and meet with department managers to keep them up to date on all hotel sales-related expenses
  • Formulate sales strategies that sustain high levels of occupancy and profitability in collaboration with department managers and their goals

  • Lead a sales team and provide leadership, training, and coaching
  • Recruit develop and retain a diverse sales team of well-trained agents
  • Develop and utilize the company's sales strategy to achieve organizational sales goals and revenues
  • Set individual sales targets with the sales team and successfully help them achieve the goals they have set
  • Collect, track and interpret sales figures and reporting
  • Ensure members of the sales team have the necessary resources to perform properly and efficiently
  • Ensure agents are following company systems in regards to lead follow up, listing management, closing management, and communication 
  • Plan and direct sales team monthly floor time schedule and formal training
  • Control expenses and monitor budgets
  • Routine roleplay scripts, dialogs, and scenario training   
  • Ensure agents are well trained on contracts and negotiations
  • Assist with agent negotiations when necessary
  • Assist with interpreting contracts, addendums, and disclosures
  • Answer questions of sales agents as needed throughout the day, evening and weekends
  • Call customers and clients as necessary to ensure client satisfaction
  • Regular sales call audits and reviews.

Qualifications
  • Displays a proven track record of sales success by lead-generation and closing
  • Knowledge of computer-based software such as Microsoft Word and Excel
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality field, is required
  • We prefer someone with prior hospitality experience but is not required
Compensation
$70,000 + Bonus Potential
