This person was probably involved in sports in either HS or College, like wrestling, football, and/or baseball/softball.

This person must value growth and is a proven real estate professional who can coach emerging talent and also consult and collaborate with successful business owners. They are committed to putting clients first, to doing the right thing, and to seeking win-win agreements. He/She role models what he/she expects to see in other people.

Overview of Position

You will be responsible for recruiting, training and leading our sales team and drive results. This person will provide leadership aligned with the company mission, vision and values and will work to achieve maximum profitability and growth. You will be expected to expand our sales team, getting our sales team members into production as quickly as possible, creating the ultimate client experience, and developing our sales team members to be the best of the best.

The Director of Sales demonstrates a commitment to learning and strives for growth by regularly attending courses, teaching courses when appropriate, and leading scripts and dialogue practices. He/She is committed to investing in the people on the team. Relationship building is a must and to be successful you will need to spend time in the field with clients.

The Director of Sales is highly sociable, draws energy from working with people, and is optimistic and outgoing. He/She unites all team members in their commitment to the team’s standards and to achieving their goals. This individual has a strong sense of urgency, yet not at the expense of quality.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with sales team to improve communication, understand and oversee training and development needs, provide insight for the improvement of their performance, and provide accountability to their goals.
  • Recruit sales associates (interview, select, hire)
  • Lead team meetings and present at state of the company business meetings
  • Provide timely feedback to leadership regarding individual and team performance
  • Responsible for the overall performance and development of sales team
  • Track leads weekly and provide reports to Rainmaker on team conversion
  • Participate in on-going coaching, training and script practice
  • Collaborates with Director of Business Development on client events, community events, and seminars
  • On-going definition and adjustment of policy and procedure manuals
  • Assists in growth of the database
  • Develop relationships and financial partnerships with third party providers
  • Build an ultimate client experience that delivers the wow factor to increase our referral intake
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE Real Estate: 3 years

LICENSE  Real Estate License and Principal Brokers License (or willing to obtain Principal Broker License)

$100,000+
