We are seeking an energetic, competitive and goal-oriented Business Development associate who is looking to build a career in real estate. A successful person in this role is passionate about achievement and draws energy from working with people. This person has a passion for connecting with people, seeking out new clients and hunting for new business. This person has “never met a stranger” and loves to talk to people and develop trusted relationships.

The daily activities for this position include finding, creating and following up on business opportunities that get referrals and clients for the team. This can include but not limited to attending networking events, setting up appointments with contacts and possible referral sources to illustrate our benefits and what makes our service valuable, making calls to expired homes to secure appointments, calling people in certain industries and creating relationships to get referrals, following up with prospects and referral sources and staying in relationship with them.

This job will require a mental toughness and drive to succeed at a high level! The payout is there for the right person who is driven to achieve, annual compensation ranging from $60,000 - $100,000+. 

Small weekly base and BIG bonuses. Unlimited earning potential.


  • Achieve personal sales targets by developing new business with potential clients and referral sources
  • Create and implement a structured plan to achieve set targets
  • Undertake cold calling, ensuring that the number of calls meets call targets as set by management
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process: lead generation; credentials pitch; asking questions; solution pitch; negotiation; close; handover to the agent sales team
  • Develop new business relationships
  • Present effective and professional presentations on Phillips & Company benefits and services
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline and ensure all sales administration is kept current at all times using CRM
  • Report on sales, activity and performance as required by Sales Director
  • Transition new clients and referrals smoothly and successfully to the sales agent team at all times
  • Effectively communicate client information and insights to team
  • Develop strong relationships with referral partners and fellow Phillips & Company team
  • Accurate transfer of information from the prospect/client to the sales agent team

  • Display excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, with a friendly focus on customer service

  • Excellent facilitation of group presentations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and industry-specific analysis software
  • Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
  • Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions for clients

$80,000+ all commission
