The Position: We’re looking for a Real Estate Assistant. We are essentially looking for someone to help in the following areas:
- The administrative work of the real estate process – responding to emails for our team leads, managing calendar and travel for team leads, scheduling showings, scheduling appointments for our team leads, paperwork, running errands, assisting with open house marketing signs, delivering closing gifts
- Assisting with our marketing initiatives – events, digital marketing, mailers, listing marketing process, creating Eventbrite for each event, behind-the-scenes social media
- Helping manage our past client program – scheduling and setting up follow-ups in our CRM database, assisting with client events, gifting program, closing gifts, mailers, invitations, holiday gifts, etc.
Responsibilities
- Adjust to the needs of the real estate office and execute other assistant duties when necessary
Admin
- Work closely with the Operations Manager and Social Media & Marketing Manager on a daily basis.
- Weekly content capturing for both social media channels (Home tours, Restaurants of Arlington, Neighborhoods, Listing content, etc.)
- Past Client/MVP Group event coordination and communication
- Local Partnership coordination and communication (Happy Hours, Giveaways, Business Visits, New partner outreach, Etc.)
- Weekly membership card distribution
- Weekly Past Client outreach
- Monthly Past Client newsletter
- Assisting with office supply stock
- General Team assistance
- Brand building/creation experience
- Customer service experience
- Administrative/paperwork/contract work
- Has availability to meet during regular working hours (9 am to 5 pm)
- Enjoys making videos and content creation
Listing Coordination Assistance
- Working closely with the agent and listing coordinator on what tasks/items need to be prepared and completed
- Setting up/taking down lockboxes
- Prepping listings however needed (coordination assistance with vendors and clients)
- Printing, and distributing marketing materials
- Prepping Open House Materials
- Setting up/taking down riders and signage
- Assisting with admin follow-up work pre/post-closing
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
- Can work on deadline and handle private client information
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Great written and verbal skills
- License for real estate is preferred but not required
- Weekend and evening availability
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Experience with social media (Instagram, Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Instagram Stories, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Experience with Eventbrite, Canva, and Mailchimp
- Computer savvy
- Responsive
- Interest in real estate
- Great attention to detail
- Quick learner (very important)
- Lives in the DC Metro area
- Flexibility to occasionally work nights and weekends for social media and events
- Ability to multi-task and work in a quick/fast ever-changing environment
- Enjoys being creative and crafty for working on fun marketing initiative ideas for clients
Compensation
$50,000 - $65,000 yearly
