Top producing real estate agent with Keller Williams in Burlingame is looking for a talented Real Estate Assistant to support in managing the day-to-day flow of business. You will be expected to “own” your job and “take the reins.” Your responsibilities will play an important role in clearing away distractions so that the agent can focus on generating new business and closing sales. This is a diverse, hands-on role and our ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced work environment. We are looking for a difference maker who wants to play an integral role in supporting the business. 

This is a flexible, part-time role that requires 20 - 30 hours per week. Working at least part of the time from your home office is an option. Ideally, candidate will be available to move into a full-time role in the future, as the business grows. Weekend hours are required.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for aspiring sales agents. You will show property to buyers, hold open houses and have the chance to practice your sales skills. 

The Details:

Salary: $20 - $25/hr, depending on experience

Hours: Part-time, 20-30 hrs per week, flexibility on the weekends required. Working remotely from home part of the time is an option. Wednesday - Saturday.

Location: Burlingame, CA

Areas of Focus:

Marketing Assistance: You will oversee the coordination of marketing materials which includes but are not limited to website management and social media postings, draft monthly newsletters and direct mail marketing. 

Manage Deal Flow: You will oversee the flow of all transactions from Listing Appointment to Close of Escrow. You will oversee all pre-listing project management work such as coordinating vendors and submit paperwork listing. You will handle client care and work with the Transaction Coordinator in following up on transactions/contracts and with overseeing the Contract to Close process.

Create Structure: You will play an essential part in continuing to build the business. You will develop systems, checklists and procedures to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the office. You will be in charge of all database management.

Support and Serve: In this role, you will provide an executive level of administrative support to the team to leverage them to a higher level. This may include but is not limited to phone and email management, calendar organization, task management and keeping the Agent focused on key tasks.

Key Software Proficiency 

  • MAC software systems (pages, numbers etc)
  • Google systems (sheets, slides, etc)
  • CRM programs
  • Social Media platforms

Candidate MUST live within a 30-minute commute of Burlingame and MUST have their own car, a valid driver’s license and carry insurance.


Ideal Candidate:

  • You have 2+ years of administrative or marketing assistant experience. 
  • You are highly motivated, intelligent, ambitious and have a passion for the Real Estate Industry. Prior real estate experience is a PLUS but not required. 
  • You have exceptional organizational and project management skills. 
  • You are detail-oriented and are able to juggle multiple projects efficiently all while staying focused and keeping a smile on your face. 
  • You are polished and professional and present yourself as such. 
  • You are a self-starter, forward thinking and solutions-oriented. 
  • You are highly energetic and creative. 
  • You are articulate having superior communications skills, in both written and verbal form. 
  • You are coachable and able to work under limited supervision, taking the initiative when necessary. 
  • You will take on your job duties with a sense of ownership, confidentiality, commitment, honesty, loyalty and integrity. 
$20 - $25 per hour (depending on experience)
