Who we are looking for?

The Administrative Assistant is an individual who relishes the opportunity to build, implement, and manage multiple systems. The Administrative Assistant is focused and highly concerned with doing things the right way. They are calm under pressure and have a service-based attitude. This understands urgency and is willing and able to ensure all administrative tasks are completed to high standards with maximum efficiency.

An Administrative Assistant is committed to supporting the team in achieving greater levels of success, and to growing his/her own skills and developing into a supportive leader in this role, as well as their next within the company.

This an hourly position. Compensation is based on level of experience and expertise upon hire.

Part time opportunities available with the potential to transition into a full-time role and/or other limitless advancement possibilities within the company.

Responsibilities

What will you do?

  • Manage systems for sellers, buyers, lead generation, database and information management
  • Oversee all contracts through closing
  • Create eye-catching marketing material using company templates for print and web
  • Keep team informed regarding any problems or issues that need to be handled
  • Assist in marketing efforts and event planning
  • Learn and assist in transitioning to a new CRM platform 

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • System and Information management
  • Oversight of contracts through closing
  • Customer/vendor relations
  • Basic marketing and design
Qualifications

Knowledge/skills:

  • Strong customer service skills required
  • Service-based attitude, always
  • Eye for detail
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational and project management 
  • Great ability to focus on tedious tasks
  • Calm under pressure
  • Technology and Internet savvy
  • Learning based
  • Proven ability to succeed
  • Comfort with prioritizing tasks in fast changing environment
  • Experience with Canva or similar platforms preferred
  • Enjoys working in an entrepreneurial environment
  • Social media marketing experience is a plus
  • Experience in Marketing, Graphic Design, or related fields also a plus
  • 1+ years of administrative experience preferred
  • Must live within a 30 minute driving distance of Orland Park, IL
Compensation
$11 - $15 hourly
