You’ll hunt, prepare, and close deals, and ensure each transaction is smooth and successful. You will be responsible for making outbound or taking inbound calls, emailing, and chatting with prospective sellers as their first point of contact with us. Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Respond to all leads in a timely manner to drive business forward
  • Greet, build rapport, and ask questions to obtain property details with prospects and clients to overcome objections and get the deal signed
  • Manage leads and follow up through daily CRM use to update and stay on task until deals are closed
  • Carefully documents and communicates important information obtained from a prospective seller to ensure a smooth hand-off to colleagues
  • Leads engaging interactions with prospective sellers
  • Navigates different prospective seller styles and encourages them to converse around their prospective property
  • Warmly, but directly broaches challenging topics like motivation, price, and other expectations
  • Uses critical thinking skills to evaluate information and make the right qualifying decisions in real-time
  • Assess comparables, property value, and condition through research, outreach, data, site walks, and market trends
  • Prepare letters of intent, real estate market research reports, partnership models, contracts, due diligence documents, and other business administration paperwork in advance of real estate transactions
  • Researches and evaluates market and property data from different sources
  • Analyzes these different data points to make the right qualifying decisions for The Anderson Group
  • Well-versed in using systems, platforms, and scheduling (calendars) to advance opportunities
  • Strong quantitative and analytical abilities, internet research, organization, and communication skills
  • Effective decision-making skills and an ability to execute under pressure


Real Estate Acquisitions Specialist Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Sales, Business or a related field of study preferred
  • 2-3 years of experience as a real estate specialist in real estate acquisitions, land acquisition, or real estate sales is highly desired
  • Must be driven and passionate about real estate asset selling and goal-oriented, and desire for continual learning within the industry
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, with extremely strong phone skills; ability to set and close appointments over the phone
  • Act as an intermediary between your sellers and buyers to ensure a smooth close
  • Smartly structures working hours to address immediate, time-sensitive opportunities first and then transition to other important tasks such as lead follow-up or tracking down property owners
  • A desire to help people, coupled with inner confidence and resolve to navigate challenges, steer conversations and get results
  • Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally, and follow through on issues in a timely manner
  • Must be interested in developing research and communication skills
  • Previous experience in sales or telemarketing preferred
  • Proficiency in common computer applications, including G-Suite
