We are looking for a full-time real estate accountant to join our expanding team! You'll be responsible for keeping our financial records organized, including tracking accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring that each account is reconciled correctly. Responsibilities
  • Create detailed journal entries and post them to the general ledger (GL) to track all income statements and expenses
  • Look over accounts payable and receivable regularly to ensure every invoice and expense report to evaluate accuracy
  • Ready our books for monthly and quarterly reports
  • Adapt to the needs of the real estate team to complete other accounting tasks when necessary
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing payments by printing, distributing, and obtaining check signatures when necessary
Qualifications
  • A background in accounting or finance is valuable, but not required
  • Must have high school diploma or GED, college degree helpful but not required
  • Has strong abilities in communication, both in writing and by phone
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Quickbooks or similar accounting software
  • Background in real estate preferred
Compensation
$45,000 - $55,000 yearly
