A typical day will include inspecting and testing final products and incoming materials for conformance to customer and quality specifications; also prepares final products for shipping.

• Tests and inspects work in progress and finished products for conformance to product and customer specifications in accordance with company standards
• Documents all instances of rejected products in accordance with company procedures
• Inspects received goods and materials in accordance with company procedures
• Labels and packages final products in preparation for shipping in accordance with production documentation
• Assists in the maintenance of documentation in the Document Control System in accordance with company standards
• Assists in the maintenance of documentation in the Corrective Action System in accordance with company standards
• Assists with training Quality Technicians in quality assurance procedures and tasks in accordance with company standards
• Detects and reports any deviations from quality standards to management
• Validates build boards in accordance with company and manufacturing standards
• Adheres to established company policies and procedures
• Adheres to ISO requirements related to their area
• Gains additional skills as assigned
• Performs other related duties as assigned

• Prior automotive industry experience preferred
• Good Oral Communication Skills
• Good Reading Skills
• Able to use English and metric measuring tape
• 20/20 vision with correction and no red/green color blindness
• Manual dexterity
• Mechanical aptitude
• Physically able to lift 25 - 50 lbs.

• Computer skills
