Responsibilities

Sample Inspection and related documentation creation and maintenance

  • Preparation of component inspection criteria
  • Notification and sharing of inspection results and issues with internal team members
  • Creation of inspection documentation and timely entry of data into the MRP system
  • Lead corrective action and rework activities using a collaborative approach with internal team members
  • Provide accurate time estimates and resource requirements for inspection, quality assurance, and rework initiatives
  • Maintenance and administration of quality equipment to include periodic calibration procedures

Product Inspection and related documentation creation and maintenance

  • Creation of product inspection sheets for lot inspections
  • Maintain the quality and inspection area to the highest standards of excellence to include management of sample inventory
  • Responsible for quality assurance programs and process including Quality System Regulation (QSR), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Initial Sample Inspection Reporting (ISIR), and Statistical Process Control (SPC)

Control Plans Work Instructions

  • Develop and maintain all necessary production control plans and work instructions
  • Educate team members and ensure control plans are followed for samples and products, as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques
  • Reliable
  • Interest in inspecting a wide variety of components
  • Proficiency in using measurement and inspection equipment
  • Proficient in reading mechanical drawings, tolerances, and symbology including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance (GDAbility to identify and resolve problems independently
  • Written and verbal (English) communication skills to work closely with team members, and external members
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of basic sampling theory

Compensation
$55,000 - $65,000 DOQ With Hiring Bonus
