Residential Property Manager needed to help manage portfolio of Chicago Real Estate (training provided).

The ideal Property Manager must be able to assist in managing a portfolio of properties. You should possess strong leadership and customer service skills in dealing with residents, vendors and enforcing regulations. You must have strong computer skills, be able to take initiative, well organized and detail-oriented. Prior experience in property management is a bonus but not required.

The Property Manager is responsible to assist in maintaining property rentals by advertising, filling vacancies, negotiating and enforcing leases, maintaining and securing premises. These properties are located in the Chicagoland area and will require some local travel around the area. 

Our Property Managers enjoy a creative and diverse work-life. You will oversee the coordination and supervision of service providers and be accountable for all on-site property management, including local marketing and all tenant relations. 

Responsibilities
  • Maintains property by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules, inspecting vacant units, completing repairs, planning renovations, contracting with landscaping and snow removal service
  • Coordinates and oversees on-site operations including vendor relationships, contractor workmanship, rent collections, accounts payable, etc.
  • Coordinates and manages resident move-ins / move-outs including processing applications
  • Coordinate CHA inspections 
Qualifications
  • No experience required 
  • Training provided 
  • Desire to learn and grow
  • Interest in property management 
  • Bi-lingual a plus but not required 
  • Reliable transportation
Compensation
$12 - $16 per hour depending on qualifications
