We are looking for a property manager for our Sebastian manufactured home community and RV resort. The property manager must be able to effectively manage the manufactured home community and RV resort and possess strong leadership and customer service skills in dealing with residents, corporate, and vendors. This position will be responsible for curb appeal, rent collections, enforcing regulations, leasing, resident relations, and overseeing maintenance, among other responsibilities.

This position requires someone who has strong computer skills, is able to take initiative, is well organized, detail-oriented, and has at least one year of RV resort and property management experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and staff
  • Approving and submitting payroll
  • Working with vendors to obtain bids and approvals from corporate
  • Overseeing projects
  • Rent collections, rent posting, bank deposits, delinquencies, and evictions
  • Rule enforcement and resident relations (newsletter, social club)
  • Leasing, move-ins, move-outs
  • Marketing vacancies and homes for sale
  • Showing homes for sale or rent
  • Executing the company's standard operating procedures and policies
  • Greeting guests and answering phones
  • Taking reservations using computer software
  • Filing and organizing office documents
  • Managing utility accounts for rental units
  • Payment processing
  • Processing work orders
  • Mail sorting

Qualifications

  • MUST HAVE at least 2 years of manufactured home community and RV resort management experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Team-oriented with an exceptionally strong work ethic and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver's license with no major violations
  • Computer experience and knowledge, particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and internet use
  • Campspot and ManageAmerica experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Must pass a standard background check, including criminal and credit
  • Must pass a standard drug test

Compensation
$42,000 - $45,000 yearly
