Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Bring in new clients by effectively executing sales-based marketing strategies like prospecting, cold calling, and networking
  • Maintain accurate customer records, bookkeeping logs, and insurance sales databases to report progress toward monthly goals
  • Have productive meetings with new, existing, and prospective clients to listen attentively to their needs and understand their financial circumstances before recommending ideal insurance policies
  • Remain educated on property and casualty insurance policies, insurance agent regulations, insurance claims, and other industry rules to successfully match prospective, existing, and new clients with the best insurance plans
  • Help existing, new, and prospective clients fulfill insurance policy requirements by ensuring the completion of necessary forms and examining physical properties prior to or during the insurance claims process
  • Meet new business production goals and objectives
  • Market and sell to new prospects
  • Work with the team to maximize agency growth
  • Ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
  • Complete online and virtual in-person nationally-ranked training modules

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Superior customer service, communication, and analytical skills are necessary
  • Must hold an active Property and Casualty Insurance license or be willing to get licensed within 90 days
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Positive and professional demeanor
  • Proficiency in operating personal computers and performing routine calculations
  • Insurance Sales Experience preferred
  • Possess an upbeat, positive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
  • Work well independently and with the team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Applications: Word, Excel and Outlook

We offer:

  • Sign-on Bonus $200
  • Earns 50% of new business commission on sold policies
