We are actively seeking a compassionate mental health therapist working primarily with an adolescent and young adult population treating behavioral, emotional and substance abuse issues and disorders within an Intensive Outpatient Program setting. This is an in-person role working within an outpatient, multidisciplinary team environment. This role will be providing group, individual, family and mutli-family group modalities. The ideal candidate will have completed their Master's degree and will have 1-3 years of clinical experience. An active LCSW (or ACSW) or MFT (or MFTI) is required for this role.   • Facilitating group therapy sessions based on group treatment plan
  • Conducting individual, conjoint and family therapy sessions
  • Conducting therapeutic mentoring sessions
  • Conducting client orientation sessions
  • Creating treatment plans and safety plans
  • Observing and monitoring clients' behavior and intervening based on clients' treatment plans and program needs
  • Coordinating and communicating with treatment team regarding client care and client issues/progress
  • Participating in client interventions under the direction of IOP Program Coordinator and Clinical Director
  • Documenting observations and interventions in client case file

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a mental health therapist
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy or Psychology (completed or in progress with completion expected within 180 days)
  • Licensed (or Intern License) in Social Work or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • CPR Certification within 90 days of hire
  • At least twenty-one (21) years of age
  • Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI)
  • Valid driver's license from employee’s state of residence.
