The Program & Events Coordinator is responsible for working with the Director of Events to develop, organize, and implement special events, Adult and Children's Birthday Parties. This position will manage the process of event planning, collaborate with all departments to execute events, and implement meaningful and impactful experiences for guests hosting their special event at Lefty’s Alley & Eats.

Essentials Duties And Responsibilities:

• Work with the Director of Events to organize and execute all special events
• Develop event concepts and logistics for events to include venue preparation, schedules, layouts, and internal communication between food & beverage and entertainment operations
• Manage assigned projects and provide communications, coordination, and organizational support to the Director throughout the event cycle of signature events at Lefty’s
• Select, book, and manage with the Director of Marketing complementary event elements such as vendors, talent, and entertainment
• Foster positive and collaborative relationships with community groups, nonprofit organizations, businesses, and institutions that expand community engagement and programmatic efforts
• Be able to execute Lefty’s Alley & Eats events. Work as an event lead or support for assigned events, work at all signature events
• Conduct all business in a moral and ethical manner leaving no room to question the integrity of Lefty’s or its staff
• Follow team rules, policies, and procedures for events, including the use of organization tools and maintaining records
• Coordinate timely and accurate responses and information to the team, other departments, vendors, citizens, community groups, or corporate organizations
• Manage supply inventory and keeps storage areas organized and tidy
• Maintain awareness and working knowledge of the various needs and scenarios that could impact the integrity of events
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to manage a unique culinary and entertainment environment
• Must have good people skills and be comfortable dealing with the public
• Must be willing and able to work varied and long shifts including holidays, weekends, and events
• Ability to manage incoming phone calls with some admin duties
