The job in question involves managing the daily operations of a thriving real estate team. From answering phone calls and emails to ensuring every client, current, past, and future, has a unique and thoughtful experience, this role is crucial to the success of our team. This individual is the first person many clients interact with and would ideally be on board long-term. They are responsible for managing calendars, scheduling appointments, and working with our clients from contract to closing.

In addition to working closely with our clients, the person in this role is also responsible for maintaining a budget. Including making purchases for the office, clients, referral partners, and marketing. This person works very closely with the team leader and helps with accounting for business and personal expenses.

This is an entry-level position helping the Sara Duncan Team, a REALTOR in the Eastern Panhandle, based out of Charles Town, WV, continue to serve families around WV, VA, and MD.

Compensation:

  • Salary Range: $30,000-$35,000 annually
  • Bonus potential
  • Rapid growth potential

Responsibilities

This person's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting and supporting the owner in all business and personal areas needing assistance
  • Maintaining database management system(s)
  • Coordinates and implements general offices services such as appointment-setting, records control, and other administrative activities
  • Screening and directing phone calls; distributing correspondence
  • Creates new systems or revises current systems including marketing strategies
  • Assisting clients and helping them to have an extraordinary experience
  • Managing day-to-day office operations
  • Tracking expenses accurately and creating effective budgets
  • Lead Management Assistance
  • Marketing of Listings, Business, and Team through social media and other avenues
  • Helping clients through the closing process
  • Manages social media platforms and website
  • Organized and able to manage projects and hit deadlines
  • Daily communication with clients, Realtors, and business partners
  • Ability to work efficiently without compromising quality or accuracy
  • (Eventually) Hiring, training, and holding team members accountable
  • This person will LOVE checklists and "to do" lists and will love paperwork/computer work

  • Tech-savvy; up-to-date with the latest office gadgets and applications and able to navigate new systems quickly
  • Able to multitask and prioritize daily workload - can work on multiple projects at once
  • Able to work independently to support a team and appropriately manage time
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Bookkeeping skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Appreciation for old-fashioned customer service
  • College degree and social media experience preferred
  • The candidate will need to be willing to obtain a real estate license upon hiring (Agent will reimburse)
  • Desire to be part of a fast-paced, team environment
  • Dependable team player with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn new things
  • This is a full-time, in-office position
  • This person must have a CAN and WILL DO attitude in order to free their Agents up to sell
