• Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces
• Mix paint or stains to customer’s specification
• Clean up work area once project is finished
• Get surfaces ready to be painted by sanding away old paint and filling holes and cracks with putty

• Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, swing stages, covering fixtures, and overall preparation
• Prepare walls and other surfaces for painting by scraping, using sandpaper, and removing old paint
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate material (e.g. plaster)
• Paint surfaces according to instructions with various tools
• Know and understand the use of paint sprayers
• Maintenance of painting tools such as brushes, rollers, sprayers
• Apply finishes to various surfaces
• Adhere to all health and safety precautions while on the job

• Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Applicants that are detail-oriented and possess strong time management and communications are preferred
• Knowledge of basic painting materials and tools is preferred, but we will provide training
• Driver’s license required
• 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required

• Must be able to move up to 50 lbs
• Working on high-rise buildings is highly possible
• Personal certifications in boom operations and swing stage use is preferred but not required
