The ideal applicant should feel at ease conversing with consumers to comprehend their needs. • Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
• Leave the work area clean once the project has been completed
• Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
• Meet with customers to understand what they want and make suggestions
• Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains

• Strong communication skills, time management skills and attention to detail
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Applicant must have valid driver’s license
• 2+ years work experience and completed apprenticeship is preferred, but not required
• Should have general knowledge of painting techniques and tools, but we are willing to provide training
